Service scope: During the warranty period, if the product cannot achieve the guaranteed function, please contact KTC to obtain the corresponding after-sales service.

All purchased products from KTC come with a hassle-free warranty. You can find the precise warranty period of your product on the literature inside its box or on this chart. You can also verify the warranty period with our customer service team in the body of your message.

If your product turns out to have a defect during its warranty period, please contact us and let us know what we can do to help you. It may save you time to first troubleshoot issues by going to our FAQ page or looking at Instruction Manuals before file a warranty claim.

This limited warranty extends only to original purchaser (You), and is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases, leases, or otherwise obtains the product from You.

WARRANTY INFORMATION TIPS

Order ID: You can find this in the order history of the account the purchase was made through.

Model Number: You can find this in your account’s order history, as well as on the packaging or manual of the product. Some products come with the model number printed directly on them. Model numbers help us identify the exact make and model of your product more accurately than a product name would.

NON-AFTER-SALES POLICY COVERAGE

This policy does not cover the following situations:

× Collision and burning accidents caused by man-made non-product quality problems,defects resulting from long-term improper use.

× Damage caused by unauthorized modification, disassembly, opening of the shell, etc. as directed by the unofficial manual,including.

× Damage or water ingress caused by improper installation, use and operation not in accordance with the instructions in the manual,but not limited to, incorrect or insufficient electric power supply.

× In the absence of official instructions and guidance, the customer repairs the damage caused by the installed components.

× Damage caused by circuit modification guided by unofficial manuals, or improper matching and use of battery packs and chargers.

× Damage caused by all actions not operating in accordance with the product manual.

× Damage caused by reliability and compatibility issues when used with non-KTC certified third-party components.

× Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the product,Damage resulting from long-term static images displayed (also referred as “Image Sticking”) or improper use.

× Any software program, whether installed randomly or afterward,Damage resulting from infection or installation of illegal software.

× Any technical or other support provided for the Machine, such as help with “how-to” questions and questions about machine setup and installation.

× Products or parts with modified or removed identification labels,Removed, revised, defaced, or damaged warranty seals and/or original factory serial numbers.

Note: Before KTC can release a replacement, it may be necessary to return the defective item for quality inspection.

DEFINITION OF DEFECTIVE, ABNORMALITY AND MALFUNCTION ON MONITORS

1) Abnormal line/Incorrect Color/Overlapping images

2) Dead pixels on the panel (please refer to Panel Pixel Warranty & Regulations below)

3) Unable to switch on the monitor by Power button/White Display/Power LED does not light up

4) Control buttons not working

5) Power leak and safety concerns6) Model name does not match with shipment (Please check with your reseller first)

6) OSD function not working

The panel is made up of millions of micro-electronic pixels, if one pixel no longer functions normally, it will become a bright or dark dot and is considered as normal. By ISO-9241-302, 303, 305, 307:2008 series of standards, KTC conforms to the acceptance level between 1 to 5 defective bright/dark pixels. If your panel has less than or equal to 5, or in the range between 0~5, it is considered as an acceptable monitor.

The panel is subject to have some backlight bleeding due to LCD/LED panel characteristics specially on panels that are In-Plane-Switching (IPS) type.

A Pixel consists of 3 sub-pixels: one red, one green and one blue dot.

A bright dot is a sub-pixel that is always on under Black pattern.

A dark dot is a sub-pixel that is always off under pure red, green, or blue any pattern.

Micro Dot, less than or equal to 1/2 dot (50μmφ), is excluded in the warranty.

KTC does not provide Perfect Pixel, or Zero Dead Pixel policy.

TYPE OF AFTER-SALES SERVICE

KTC provides you with the following after-sales services: return service, exchange service and warranty service. For details, please contact KTC. You will also need to fill out a repair request form and send the product to be repaired back to KTC together with the request form.

An exchange may be requested if one of the following conditions is met:

√ Within 15 natural days after the customer receives the goods, they find that the product has been damaged during transportation and can provide the certificate of damage to the goods provided by the transportation company.

√ The customer finds that the product is seriously inconsistent with the original product description in one or more important aspects within 15 natural days after receiving the goods.

√ Within 15 natural days after the customer receives the goods, it is found that the product has a performance failure that is not artificially damaged.

We have the right to refuse the customer’s exchange request in the following cases:

× Request for replacement after more than 15 natural days from the date of receipt.

× The legal proof of purchase or documents cannot be provided when exchanging goods, or the documents are forged or altered.

× The replacement product is incomplete, or the appearance is damaged due to artificial reasons.

× Tested by KTC technical support department, there is no quality problem.

× Collision and burning caused by non-self-quality problems, as well as product quality problems caused by man-made unauthorized modification, entry of foreign objects (water, oil, sand, etc.), incorrect installation, and use and operation not in accordance with the instructions.

× Tear up, alter labels, machine serial numbers, waterproof marks, anti-counterfeiting marks, etc..

× Products damaged due to unavoidable factors, such as fire, flood, lightning strike, traffic accident and other force majeure.

× After contacting KTC to confirm the return service, the corresponding item was not sent within 7 natural days.

× If the goods are damaged due to transportation, they propose to exchange the goods but fail to provide the cargo damage certificate issued by the transportation company.

× Other situations described in the policy.

APPLY FOR WARRANTY SERVICE

If the product has performance failure during the effective warranty period of the product, you can apply for product warranty service.

The implementation of free warranty service must meet the following conditions:

√ The product has been used normally within the specified product warranty period since the purchased product, and there is a non-artificial performance failure of the product.

√ No unauthorized disassembly, no modification or installation guided by unofficial manuals, or other non-human-caused failures.

√ The machine serial number, factory label and other signs are not torn or altered.

√ Provide valid proof of purchase, receipt and order number.

The following situations do not belong to the free product warranty service:

OTHER NOTICES

√ When sending products to KTC, you need to bear the shipping cost first.

√ You need to send the faulty product back. After the KTC after-sales service center receives the faulty machine, it will conduct fault detection on the product to determine the responsibility for the fault. We will charge the corresponding testing fee, replacement part fee, testing fee, labor fee and courier fee according to the specific problem.

√ If the tested product does not meet the free maintenance conditions, the customer can choose to pay for maintenance or return the original machine.

√ Please note that product maintenance may result in data loss, please back up your data first.

√ After the product is out of warranty, KTC will not provide data analysis services.

√ If you wish to send back products across countries/regions, please contact KTC first, and the resulting customs duties and customs clearance fees must be borne by you.
